Partner Electrician

Are you an experienced electrician looking for an opportunity to manage yourself and your time? Have you thought about going out on your own, but don’t want to run the business side of things?

Raiden Electric is looking to add an experienced electrician partner to our team, license not required.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced electrician who is a self starter, has strong work resolution and results, has high quality of work and excellent customer service skills, and is looking to manage their own time/schedule and tasks.

We are looking to make this person a partner, so someone who has enough experience and who thought they might want to go out on their own, but doesn’t want the hassle of running the business side of things, getting their own license, or buying expensive tools and equipment.

This person needs to have a high level of integrity, be able to lead, and have deep electrical knowledge in the commercial/industrial areas. This person also needs to be able to accurately quote/budget small jobs on their own. Larger jobs/commercial/solar jobs are quoted in house by other team members.

We do a lot of commercial and industrial electrical work, LED upgrades, and solar and EV charger installations. We are looking for someone to be a quick study in our quality and installation standards and be able to manage and run these projects on their own.

This job will be quite flexible with working hours and essentially will be able to manage their own schedule. They will also be responsible for keeping detailed records of hours and work completed for customer billing.

Our service area is Springboro to Norwood, and Oxford to Maineville. Our Shop is in Mason, OH.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Current Valid Driver’s License, and insurable, with no major infractions
  • 8+ Years On-Job Electrical Experience
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Ability to be at heights over 10ft
  • Ability to stand for long hours
  • Intimate familiarity with industry tools and equipment
  • Understand the hazards and safety practices involved in working around high voltage equipment and moving machinery
  • Person must have knowledge of industry costs and be able to bid/quote smaller jobs.
  • Ability to travel within the Dayton and Cincinnati footprint to get to jobsites
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Problem solving and critical thinking ability
  • Time Management skills
  • Strong Work Ethic
  • Highly Detailed
  • Self-starter and personally responsible with high integrity
  • Full set of basic hand and power tools

Work Hours

This job is technically considered as part-time because there is not always a consistent schedule. We have a lot of work coming in and strive to keep everyone at 40 hours a week. Some are more, some are less. Work would be mostly on weekdays during standard business hours, but some weekends if a project required it. Some work may require off-shift hours, like second shift, occasionally and temporarily. Overtime is expected when necessary to complete a project. Both off-shift work and overtime is appropriately compensated as extra, including shift premiums.

Pay

Hourly wage is based on incoming skill, but will be a minimum of $30/hr up to $60/hr. Becoming a partner in this business enables you to have profit sharing over your hourly wage.

Experienced Apprentice or Skilled Electrician

Do you have mechanical aptitude? Are you interested in honing a skilled trade? Do things like Electric Vehicles and Solar Energy pique your interest?

Raiden Electric is looking to add an experienced apprentice or skilled electrician to our team to assist our master licensed electrician.

Responsibilities

In this position you would gain invaluable knowledge in the electrical skilled trade. You would work alongside our licensed master electrician and gradually work your way up the skills ladder. We do a lot of commercial and industrial electrical work, LED upgrades, and solar and EV charger installations. We are looking for someone to be a quick study in our quality and installation standards and over time be able to work and complete projects on their own. This is not just your standard residential electrical work; we are looking for someone eager to learn about commercial and industrial electrical as well. Some responsibilities are listed below, but this is not a comprehensive list.

  • Measure, Cut, Bend and Install conduit, pipes, or tubing and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes
  • Follow blueprints, construction documents, and specifications to determine location of wiring or equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair defective wiring and equipment using various instruments
  • Wire panels and devices using various tools
  • Assist in the layout of electrical wiring or fixtures
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
  • Install Solar (PV) and Electric Vehicle equipment
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
  • Testing electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of system
  • Ensuring code compliance of electrical installations
  • Load, transport, unload, and furnish Journeyman and Foreman Electricians with materials, equipment, tools, and supplies
  • Use ladders, scaffolding, scissor and boom lifts
  • Perform housekeeping duties, as required
  • Other duties as assigned
